Nearly a month has gone by and I haven't posted. So much for my attempt... Let's try again, shall we? The first snowfall of the year arrived. Frequent flurries have left trees and grass covered in a pretty white dusting. Now it truly feels that the holiday season has arrived. Radio stations play Christmas carols, stores are having holiday sales even earlier, pumpkin pie, gingerbread and peppermint treats abound... It's a festive time of year, and I enjoy it muchly. I'm attempting to do my Christmas shopping early this year. I have an idea for almost everyone on my list and have even made a couple of purchases. Go me!

I've also packed a few boxes.... this move is becoming a reality rather rapidly. Last week was tumultuosly emotional, with all the thoughts of not being close to my family and missing out on the everyday happenings of their lives. This week I feel more at terms with that, and am beginning to be uber excited about starting a new chapter of life - being close to the one with whom I am going to spend the rest of my life. Building everyday memories with him.... And that makes me grin.
